Past Productions & Gallery
Our pantomimes are produced every two
years and are directed by Paul Willcox and Hazel Town.
They are always cast from both adult and youth members
and are now being written by a West Meon Theatre member,
Helena Gomm, and have a very local flavour.
The pantomimes are rehearsed from late October and are always performed in the February half-term week, playing for six performances. They are always a sell out.

Plays and Musicals
Since our first production of JB Priestley's When We Are Married in 1993, we have performed a variety of plays and have recently ventured into musicals.
1997 saw the start of our Open-Air Shakespeare events with A Midsummer Night’s Dream on the village recreation ground. Since then we performed in the gardens and parks of West Meon House and the decommissioned Victorian church at Privett.
In 2008 we received best directed Shakespeare production for a Midsummer Night’s Dream at The Southern Daily Echo Curtain Call Awards.
These productions are always rehearsed over an intensive period of ten days when the cast commit to a daily schedule of rehearsals from 10am to 6pm. This leads into the production week, usually the last week of July. The cast know their commitment once auditions are complete in the January of the same year.
